@campbellflyfishing

Fishing has been a passion for Austin’s whole life, while learning to fish for warm water species in Atchison, Kansas on his family Farm, to Fly Fishing Freestone and tailwaters of Colorado. Austin truly found the love for the sport in High School while fly fishing rivers in the front range of Colorado and took his passion to the east coast, while attending college at Penn State University.

During his time at Penn State, Austin was part of the track and field team as a high jumper, while still fly fishing at least three to four times a week, to learn tactics from Fly Fishing legends like George Daniels and Joe Humphreys.

Currently Austin is a Fly Fishing guide at Trout’s Fly Fishing located in Denver, Colorado, guiding on tailwaters and freestone rivers in the state. While also starting a nonprofit with others in the Denver area, Community Fly Fishing. The goal is creating opportunities for individuals who do not have equal access to the sport and the outdoors. Community Fly Fishing provides free 101 sessions, guided outings, river conservation, and guide courses, taught by those who equally reflect Denver community’s demographic.

The outdoors is for all.
