Featuring single-piece aluminum alloy uprights and custom 10.9 Alloy steel fasteners, the ACS FORGED was subjected to five years of rigorous testing and hundreds of thousands of off-road miles, and is built for extreme load carrying capabilities, including capacities of up to 400 pounds of off-road dynamic weight, 800 pounds of on-road dynamic weight and 1,400 pounds of parked static weight.

The patented GearPOD XL - GEN 2, for example, is manufactured from roto-molded high-density polyethylene, the same material used on that indestructible bear-proof cooler in the garage, so no need to question its durability.
